Who knew running could be so colorful? Last Sunday, hawkeye Sports and Experiential team member Becca Ellinor took part in The Color Run with a group of friends at Fair Park in Dallas. The concept was to start out clean white and progress along the course, getting doused with different colors of paint at various points along the way. The result (Becca in the middle):
The only color Kate VanHee saw on Saturday morning was brown, as in mud - everywhere! Kate ran the Cross Timbers Half Marathon, the "oldest trail run in Texas" out by Lake Texoma. She braved the cool, wet, slippery conditions to finish the brutally difficult (14 mile) race as the 3rd fastest female overall - congrats Kate, way to go!
